Courtney Tailor’s Attorney Attempts to Get Judge to Hide Evidence Relating to the Murder of Her Nigerian Boyfriend

IG Influencer and OnlyFans model, Courtney Tailor, recently arrested after killing her boyfriend in April 2022, made a request to hide evidence relating to the murder case. Florida prosecutors objected the request.

Courtney Tailor, born Courtney Taylor Clenney, stabbed her Nigerian boyfriend, Christain Obumseli, with a kitchen knife in his chest while in their Miami luxury apartment. During the investigation, Clenney told Miami police that she had acted in self-defense. Obumseli’s family hired Attorney Larry Handsfield to pressure the authorities and continue the investigation leading to her arrest in Hawaii 4 months after the murder.

Clenney’s lawyer, Frank Prieto maintains his stance that she acted in self-defense. He recently slammed Miami State Attorney, Kathie Fernandez Rundle, for sharing the surveillance footage of Clenney beating up Obumseli in an elevator. Prieto said the release of the video is “an attempt by the government to prejudice the potential jury members against the defendant.”

Clenney’s attorney requested the judge to ban the prosecutors from releasing evidence relating to the
incident publicly. He then asked the court to inspect Obumseli’s body. Prosecutors objected as the body was buried weeks ago in Dallas, TX and exhuming his body goes against the family’s religion.

The judge said she’d issue a decision on the motions after conducting a hearing.
