29 year-old Mother of 4, Asia Maynard, Dead after going on a date
Single mother of 4, Asia Maynard, went on a romantic date with a man identified as Isiah Crown on February 18, 2022. When the 29 year-old failed to come home the next morning, her cousin, Hailie Loomis, decided to look for her since it was out of her character to not return home to her four children. Hailie didn’t find out about her cousin’s death until 2 days later on February 20th at 02:30pm. She was notified by Kansas City PD that Asia’s death was due to “natural causes” without producing a toxicology report. The Kansas City Police Department refused to disclose any information about the man who reported Asia’s death.
So who is Isiah Crown? Statements from three of his friends are all describing him as a drug junkie who provide unknown narcotics to friends. Cameron Kean, Isiah’s former roommate, recounted the time he almost died from an overdose from a drug that he received from Isiah. Cameron said that even after laying on the ground fighting for his life, Isiah was focused on hiding his stuff rather than helping him. Another former friend, Mercedes Marie, also disclosed that their friend died from an overdose of Fentanyl received from Isiah.
Asia’s family believe the officers of KCPD leading the investigation on this case should be held accountable for covering up her death and letting Isiah off the hook without proper investigation. They are asking for justice in this case while pushing for a full investigation.
