Carl Crawford & J Prince Depositions Ordered in Meg The Stallion Contract Dispute

Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion is in the middle of a lawsuit against the record label she’s signed to, 1501 Entertainment. 1501 Entertainment’s head honcho Crawford, and J. Prince, who is the founder of Rap-A-Lot Records, received orders to sit for deposition.

Megan included J. Prince in the fallout, because she says J. Prince advises Carl Crawford on business dealings. On October 24, J. Prince and Crawford will be appearing for deposition in the case.

Megan feels that she has satisfied the terms of the agreement with the label 1501 Entertainment after the release of her last 2 albums — “Something for Thee Hotties” and last week’s release, “Traumazine”, and she’s seeking to be released from the contract.

Meg Thee Stallion says she’s done with the label and asked for money she believes is owed to her. The rapper says 1501 Entertainment owes at least $1 million and the rapper requested a proper accounting of all funds. Her attorneys are hoping Crawford would settle the case prior to the deposition.
