Louisville Father Apologizes After Viral Video on School Bus, Explains He Was Defending Daughter Against Bully

A Louisville, KY father went viral on social media. In the video he was seen yelling and cursing at children on a school bus. Delvantae King gave more information to WAVE News in an interview. The father says he got on his daughter’s school bus to defend her against a group of children who were bullying her.

On Tuesday, the father apologized to the children and their parents for his behavior. King revealed what happened between the children and his daughter. King says he’s been reaching out to administrators for help resolving the bullying issues because the same child has been bullying his young daughter since last year. He has gone through the proper protocol, but the administrators haven’t done anything about it.

During the first week of school, just days after the students returned for the 2022-2023 school year, the same girl and other students bullied his daughter again. The physically injured her, leaving a lump on her head. All of his frustration led up to the moment caught on video.
